Ekaterina Kiseleva was born in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum and also in a private studio. She graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academic Repin Institute, the monumental studio under the direction of Andrei Mylnikov. During the studying at the Institute Ekaterina was practicing in the mosaic studio of the Academy of Arts. She copied frescoes of the Snetogorsky Monastery (14th c.) in Pskov. The decision of the presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts she was awarded a gold medal for her academic success and the first prize at the exhibition of drawings of students of the institute. Ekaterina took part in the exhibition "8th International Youth Festival of Russian Art in Italy" and in the project "Mobile Academy of Arts". She was awarded a diploma for her creative achievements in the fine arts from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The artist's paintings were awarded first prizes at the "International Exhibition of Contemporary Art" in Antalya (2013), in Portugal (Gallery of the Union of Artists, 2013), in Geneva ("Nest Gallery", 2014).
Ekaterina is a member of the Russian Union of Artists, a participant and laureate of international exhibitions and competitions. The author's works are in public and private collections in Russia and abroad.
